Requirements:
Grade 10/12 good communication and interpersonal skills. At least 1-2 years experience in pottering will be an added advantage. Knowledge of hospital environment. First Aid Certificate will be an added advantage. Shift work is compulsory.
Duties:
Transport patients from registration points to different clinical areas within the hospital. Transporting patients from wards to different service points and back to the wards. Transporting corpses from wards to the mortuary. Off-loading of patients from ambulance and private cars to the stretcher's. Cleaning of wheelchairs and stretchers at all times. Enter patients data on the porters register at the emergency area. Shift work is compulsory. Be available when needed during your rest days.
