Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent plus appropriate practical experience in Patient Administration. Be computer literate, Ability to work under pressure. Good interpersonal and people management skills. Knowledge of prescripts and legislation. Prepared to work shifts.

Duties:

Performing patient administration duties in all sections of patient Administration, Registering, admitting and discharging of patients on the system, completion of relevant and required forms. Acquire information from patients, capture data on TPH 31 and 31A, receive money from paying patients, issue accounts for patients who doesn't have money to pay, completion of GPF3 (registration form) during downtime period, completing of downtime register during downtime, completion of pay-in-register after every shift and handing over of resources, e.g. crutches, computers, etc. At the end of the shift. Safekeeping and disposal of files and documents in terms of the Archives Act. Storage and retrieval of documents and files. Be a custodian of patients' records by managing the movement and control of files. Render customer care to clients and be sensitive to waiting time. Perform other tasks as allocated by the supervisor.
