REQUIREMENTS : Three year relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies and Journalism. Two years supervisory experience in a media, marketing and communication environment or similar. Code EB driver's license. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and Procedures, Working knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Basic knowledge of all legislations, Project Management, Batho Pele Principles. Skills: Planning and Organizing, Interpersonal, Computer literacy, Communication, Conflict resolution, Listening and observation, Negotiation, Event Management, Analytical, Presentation, Facilitation, Research, Leadership, Supervisory , Management.

DUTIES : Provide media liaison support services in the province. Perform duties and responsibilities of a spokes person in the Province.Coordinate and stakeholder and public relations to enhance advocacy initiatives by Bus and / or Labour Centres. Provide Marketing and Advertising of the Services of DoL in the Province. Provide internal communication services.
